The rumor mill was churning out reports last week and into the weekend that Google is in talks with YouTube to purchase the online video portal for $1.6 billion dollars. TechCrunch first reported on the rumor last week and the WSJ picked it up over the weekend. Talks are still "sensitive" and may fall through.
