The judge presiding over the Nokia-Qualcomm patent infringement case [1]has ordered a stay of the trial until further notice. Qualcomm initiated the case against Nokia [2] because it claims Nokia's mobile phone products infringed on six of Qualcomm's patents. Since the case went to court, Qualcomm has rescinded three of the patent claims. The news follows a recent mini-truce between Qualcomm and Broadcom over two patent infringement cases [3]. Those companies have other jury trials, scheduled, however.
