The biggest news from the show was how the mobile health sessions were the only ones that were full. It seems that everyone is interested in this.
Personally, I think the most important news was Android itself. Look at your questions above, 3 of the 7 choices (other than none of the above) were Android related. None of the choices are related to "Windows Phone" which just happened to launch at the same time as the CTIA show.
We have the launch of the Hero tomorrow on Sprint, the announcement of a launch of what will be the fastest processor to-date with the Samsung Moment in only 20 days on the same network. News of Kyocera's foray into Android (which does not in itself excite me, but it is showing even more manufacturer support. (I've found the couple of Kyocera phones I've handled to be pretty darn "cheap feeling").
There is the news of the partnership between Verizon and Google/Android. News of at lesat 2 new devices to be launched on Verizon yet this year.
News that Motorola is pretty much dumping any WinMo development for the time being. News of Android 1.6 updates, rumors of Android 2.0 on the Motorola Sholes/Tao/Droid (although I'll believe *that* when I see it.)
News of Gartner predicting Android going from dead-last in the mobile OS department to #2 by 2012 (Dead last for any carrier supported phones, I know Maemo is on the N900, and there are obviously some other esoteric stuff out there.)(Again, I take anything Gartner says with a grain of salt, I remember them saying Linux was the "Hype Du-Jour" years ago, and now it's powering everything from mobile phones to mp3 players, to television sets, and a huge portion of the internet back-bone.)
News of Google's Quick Search Bar for Android. Release of Pandora for Android.
Rumors of Barns and Nobel new E-book running Android. The availability of the first Android powered MID.
Cyanogen being able to create an install routine for version 4.1.99 and 4.1.999 backing up the proprietary programs on your phone, install the modded ROM and restore your apps, so he's back in business, apparently with Google's blessing.
The list just seems to go on and on.
Almost as amazing as all of the Android news, is the almost total lack of news good news about the Windows Phone 6.5 release.
the best part of the show was the fccspeech
The biggest news was Motorola not making Android news with Verizon.
