ABCNEWS.COM INCREASES UNIQUE VISITORS BY 60% IN JULY 08

ABCNEWS.com continued to garner double-digit traffic growth in July 2008 in unique visitors, page views and video views versus the same time last year. ABCNEWS.com reached 20.4 million uniques for the month, an increase of 60% compared with the same time last year, according to ABC's measurements. The site had 202.2 million page views, up 58% from the previous year, and video views increased 139% compared to the same time last year. ABC News' mobile site, m.abcnews.com, increased page views 77% versus the same time last year, according to ABC's measurements.

Multiple sections on ABCNEWS.com continued to attract triple digit growth for the month compared to the previous year. The Health section increased page views 336%, according to ABC's measurements. Other sections that also increased page views compared with the previous year included the Politics (153% increase), Technology (142% increase) and Money (74% increase) sections.
