LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14, 2009 -- International sports and entertainment presenter AEG today announced that its newest business unit, AEG Digital Media, has been an immediate and major success in its strategy to digitally produce and distribute events both from its AEG venues and from any location around the world. Delivering more than 25 events in less than 60 days, AEG Digital Media has stormed onto the scene of a rapidly growing market to meet consumer demand for high quality Internet broadcasting and live streaming media.

A provider of complete, turnkey, no-fail multimedia broadcast solutions, AEG Digital Media launched in early October when AEG acquired live Internet streaming company, Incited Media. In less than two months, the company has facilitated and managed a record number of events including:

·       And displaying its diversity, the company also powered a series of live webcasts with Penguin Publishing in the month of October with select Penguin authors reading from the latest works at Borders Bookstores around the country.

“We are incredibly pleased with the traction of AEG Digital Media and the broad spectrum of content they are actively managing across many exciting content verticals including music, sports, publishing, movie premieres, award shows and digital television,” said Tim Leiweke, president & CEO of AEG, the Los Angeles-based sports and entertainment company.

AEG Digital Media provides complete turnkey creative and technical production services which were also on display at the premiere of the Michael Jackson movie, “This Is It” which occurred at AEG’s Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.  AEG Digital Media produced the feed for both webcast and traditional broadcast while simultaneously producing and streaming a Cobra Starship/Boy Like Girls concert in the AEG’s Club Nokia that was delivered on Ustream and to Nokia mobile handsets.
