Experienced software development executive Dan Blake to oversee tech team for mobile patient monitoring innovator

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Dan Blake, a 25-year technology industry veteran with a record of success in deploying groundbreaking mobile systems for companies including IBM and Cisco as well as innovative startups, has been named Chief Development Officer of AirStrip Technologies, Inc. Company officials made the announcement today.

“Dan knows how to develop mobile software and infrastructure solutions that address critical enterprise-level issues. That is a perfect fit as we work to grow our suite of mobile healthcare monitoring solutions globally,” AirStrip Technologies Chief Executive Officer Alan Portela said. “AirStrip is gradually rolling out its solutions to include mobile access to patient monitoring in virtually any care setting, from the hospital to home monitoring. Dan has the experience and skills needed to keep AirStrip stationed at the forefront of the mobile-enabled health revolution.”

Prior to joining AirStrip Technologies, Blake held positions including President of ArchiStrat Consulting, Inc., Chief Technology Officer of Nightrader Ltd., Chief Technology Officer of Aon Group, and President/CEO of Aon Risk Technologies.

Trey Moore, AirStrip’s Chief Technology Officer, added Blake’s experience makes him ideally suited to AirStrip’s commitment to meaningful mobility – using native mobile technology to improve clinical decision-making at the point of care through the secure, real-time delivery of visually compelling patient data.

By optimizing patient throughput and access to care, meaningful mobility aims to improve workflow, move beyond geographic barriers, and support the best possible choices by both providers and patients.

“AirStrip is ahead of the curve in terms of offering comprehensive mobile patient monitoring solutions for virtually any part of the healthcare setting,” Blake said. “Our goal is to remain adaptable to the constantly changing landscape of mobile devices and operating systems, while delivering solutions that support hospitals and physicians in their efforts to comply with federal meaningful use requirements.”
