Answers.com Works with Nokia
Answers Corporation, creators of Answers.com(TM), today announced that it is working with Nokia to offer owners of Nokia Series 40 and S60 devices access to its collection of over four million answers. The service is being made available in the Download! client on Nokia devices. The service features a convenient lookup box offering quick definitions on any word or phrase. This mobile "virtual library" covers subjects like history, business, literature, geography, sciences, arts, music, food, movies and technology.
"There are plenty of mobile search sites out there," said Bob Rosenschein, CEO, "but we're offering a more direct approach: actual information that we've licensed from over 180 sources. Like carrying a pocket-sized reference shelf, this is about quick content, not more time-consuming search. We are excited about mobile information in general, and about working with a company of Nokia's stature in particular."
