Aspiro makes acquisition in mobile marketing
STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News: Effective today, Aspiro (STO:ASP) has acquired 75% of the shares of Norwegian company My Mobile World AS (MMW), which provides mobile marketing and interactive solutions for domestic and foreign clients. The acquisition strengthens Aspiro’s mobile marketing business segment.
Mobile marketing is one of Aspiro’s growth segments, where generally, high growth is expected in the coming years.
“We see substantial value in My Mobile World’s products and solutions, and see good opportunities to sell them alongside our existing products,†said Jan Erik Sørgaard, CEO of Aspiro Mobile Marketing.
MMW supplies mobile marketing, such as web and mobile solutions, texting campaigns and interactive solutions for Norwegian and foreign customers. In 2007, MMW’s sales were some NOK 3.2 m.
