Bridgewater to Provide Mobile Personalization Solutions for Cox's Wireless Service

OTTAWA, May 26, 2009 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Bridgewater Systems (TSX: BWC), the mobile personalization company, today announced that Cox Communications will deploy the Bridgewater® Service Controller anchored by Bridgewater's Subscriber Data Broker™ to support the rollout of its new national 3G wireless service and plans to evolve to 4G LTE.

    -   Cox Communications, the third largest cable provider in the U.S. with
        over 6 million subscribers, is deploying Bridgewater's market leading
        mobile personalization portfolio for its forthcoming 3G wireless
        service.

    -   For the rollout of the service, Cox chose the Bridgewater Service
        Controller to securely authorize and authenticate subscribers and
        provide critical accounting functions.

    -   Cox is also deploying Bridgewater's Subscriber Data Broker to bring
        together rich, dynamic subscriber data with the sophisticated tools
        to broker that data to multiple systems and applications. By
        combining an advanced business rules engine with application policy
        controls, it enables service providers to broker subscriber data to
        third-party applications making it easy to create and personalize
        services on line and in real time.
