Apple, Inc. Approves Mobile Application for Delivering News

FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Washington, D.C.-area communications professionals have a new means for obtaining news and information about their local industry with the availability of an iPhone application for Capitol Communicator.

iPhone users can access most of the same content offered on the online venue: news about projects, clients, events, awards, opinion columns and photos. The free application also delivers video from Capitol Communicator Television with its thought leadership series, and from the main channel that features news about communications firms and individuals.

“Communications professionals in particular know the power of information that is timely, informative and accessible wherever they are,” says Capitol Communicator Founder Paul Duning, “so we want to stay ahead of the curve by providing content in a form our readers want.”

The application was created by PointAbout, the company credited with developing iPhone applications for brands such as The Washington Post, Gannett and Burger King.
