Cellit Connects to New Carriers: i wireless, Long Lines Wireless & Simmetry Wireless

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cellit announced today the addition of several regional cell phone companies to their growing list of direct carrier connections. Effective April 1, 2010 – Cellit has established SMS connectivity to i wireless of Urbandale, Iowa, Simmetry Wireless of Quincy, Illinois and Long Lines Wireless of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

Cellit has established a two way connection to the three companies, providing full SMS interactivity. Unlike many other mobile marketing providers that service smaller carriers via one-way SMTP connections, Cellit connects to all carriers via the SMPP protocol. SMPP connectivity is required by the Mobile Marketing Association and carriers for compliance, providing the user with total control over the opt-in and opt-out process.
