Nurit Benjamini Joins Leader in Home Networking Integrated Circuits

TEL AVIV, Israel & NEWARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CopperGate Communications, the leading provider of standards-based integrated circuits for networking high-speed entertainment data throughout the home over existing wires, today announced that Nurit Benjamini has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer. With over 15 years of experience in executive financial positions, Ms. Benjamini will oversee global financial operations for the rapidly growing fabless semiconductor company.

Ms. Benjamini joins CopperGate from Compugen, a world leader in the discovery and licensing of product candidates to the drug and diagnostic industry where, as CFO, she managed among others a private placement and the company's IPO on August 2000 in which the company raised $53 million. Prior to Compugen, Ms. Benjamini served as CFO at Phone-Or and Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a worldwide leader in software DRM and Internet security where she was instrumental in the company's rapid growth.
