eBay Instant Sale is a new program that lets people get competitive cash offers for electronics, including tablets and cell phones, in 60 seconds or less. eBay customers who visit eBay.com/iPad and enter in basic information about their device will receive an instant cash offer. Once the offer is accepted, users will receive a free shipping label. Payment will be deposited into the customer’s PayPal account once the item has been received and evaluated.

With the launch of Instant Sale, eBay now offers its customers two compelling options for offloading electronics: traditional selling and trade-in. Users can opt for the solution that makes the most sense to them based on the time they have available and the effort they are willing to commit.

In addition to Instant Sale’s value proposition for consumers, the platform provides an engine for the reuse of functional electronics, keeping e-waste out of landfills and preventing new manufacturing. Further, if an old device has no value, eBay Instant Sale will responsibly recycle it free of charge.
