Posted November 9, 2007

Harlequin
Enterprises Limited, the world's leading publisher of series romance and
women's fiction, today announced a partnership with Motricity’s
eReader.com to launch its “Free Love Fridays” promotion.

“Tactically, we want to raise consumer
awareness and adoption of the mobile marketing channel,”
said Aideen O'Leary-Chung, manager of digital commerce for Harlequin
Enterprises Limited. “Harlequin is committed to
a mobile strategy that makes our stories available to our customers wherever
and whenever they want to enjoy our material.”

To
participate in "Free Love Fridays,” a
customer buys two Harlequin titles from Motricity’s
eReader site and gets the “featured” title at no charge. The promotion runs every Friday
in November, ending at midnight.

“We’re very
excited and it’s fitting that “Free
Love Fridays” will be offered to our eReader
customers,” said Alex Bloom, general manager of
Motricity’s Smartphone operation. “Women are among our fastest growing customer segments
of e-book readers, and romance has become one of the top categories at
eReader.com, so this partnership should be very successful in raising the
mobile marketing efforts for Harlequin.”

With
almost half a million users and over 17,000 eBooks, eReader.com, a business
unit of Motricity, is one of the world’s largest
eBook stores. Motricity delivers more than 600,000 digital media titles and
applications direct to consumers for their mobile devices through some of the
largest and most popular mobile content storefronts.
