Turnkey SMSC Solution with Extremely High Throughput and Scalability Reduces Delayed Messages for Customers and Improves Cost Efficiencies for Operator

FORT MYERS, FL.-EMBARGOED TILL Sept. 10, 2008-Interop Technologies, a leading provider of advanced wireless technology solutions for the global wireless, packaged goods, and content industries, today announced a signed agreement for its turnkey SMSC 4 Series solution with Pine Cellular of Oklahoma.

The SMSC 4 Series solution achieves up to 36,000 Message Deliver Attempts (MDAs) per second, the world's highest throughput for Short Message Service Centers (SMSCs). The highly reliable solution enables wireless operators of all sizes to meet increased demand for SMS capacity and improve text message delivery for customers.

The innovative, extremely scalable SMSC 4 Series combines SMS routers, clustering and load balancing technologies, and intelligent route caching to eliminate the need for multiple SMSCs.  The solution reduces technical and operating costs and is available in flexible deployment options that fit any operator's business model.
