Jonathan Miller, Former AOL Chairman & CEO Joins Motricity Board

Motricity, a leading provider of mobile content infrastructure services, today announced that Jonathan Miller, former Chairman and CEO of AOL has joined the Motricity Board of Directors.

Miller is a founding partner of Velocity Interactive Group, a leading investment firm that focuses on digital media and communications and he’s credited with architecting an industry-defining turnaround at AOL. Velocity is an investor in Motricity.

From 2002 to 2006 Miller served as Chairman and CEO of AOL. During that time, he restructured AOL’s core business lines and helped the company deliver record annual profit growth of 21 percent.

Previously, Jon was CEO and President of USA Information and Services, now IACI and Expedia (the company split in two in 2005). Jon received his B.A. with honors from Harvard College. He serves on the Board of the American Film Institute and serves as a trustee of both Emerson College and WNYC Public Radio in New York. Board positions include Idearc Media, Premier Exhibitions, as well as several others.
