Developing Applications for Android™ Devices

This course offers the skills to build professional mobile business applications using Java and the Android SDK.

"This new course offers the skills to design user interfaces, store and retrieve data and integrate Android applications with location-based services."
Developing Applications for Android™ Devices
In a rapidly evolving mobile environment, organizations have an increased need for innovative content and service delivery. Through hands-on exercises, this course gives participants practical experience developing Android applications.
Exercises include:
- Creating an Android application from scratch
- Building the UI using the ADT Visual Designer
- Adding event handling to the Graphical User Interface

- Leveraging Honeycomb to create tablet applications
- Packaging applications for publication
