‘Gets Video Clips to Mobile Devices as the Action Happens’

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- LiveClips™, an innovator and pioneer in bringing live sports action to fans almost as fast as the game itself via any Internet-enabled or mobile device, has undergone dramatic growth with a new senior management team, increased financing and a move to new office space.

“Our proprietary, patent-pending technology is without equal in the sports video space,” said Lewis Bakes, the CEO who joined LiveClips earlier this year with COO Jack Loop when their firm, Amazing Grace Media, made an investment of approximately $1 million in the three-year-old company.

Mr. Bakes said that LiveClips’ multi-screen service “delivers in-game video clips to smartphones, tablets, PCs and any Internet-enabled device significantly faster than competitive service offerings and stands alone in its ability to provide personalized socially-enabled video content fans can share via Facebook®, Twitter® and other social media.

“LiveClips gets video clips to mobile devices as the action happens,” he said. “And unlike competitors who manually create only limited number of clips for each game, LiveClips’ computer-aided technology creates a video clip of every play for every game within seconds of live action.

“LiveClips provides fans with the ability to view what they want, when they want, where they want, within seconds of the termination of live action, in a format that eliminates everything that is extraneous to their desired viewing preference,” he said. “The sports leagues and broadcasters who are our customers can now fully monetize their video content while delivering the real-time video notifications and alerts that fans crave.”

LiveClips’ computer-aided system is designed to provide in-game video clips, condensed games, and personalized highlight reels within seconds after completion of a play. Over the past year, ESPN® and Major League Baseball®, among others, have worked with LiveClips’ technology.

LiveClips is currently in discussions with “multiple broadcasters and sports leagues and is also developing several fantasy offerings,” said Mr. Bakes. “We are solidifying relationships with strategic investors, partners and advisors who will provide the critical mass necessary for LiveClips to expand quickly enough to meet the demand of the marketplace.”

Growing with Move to Stamford

Having grown its team by 300% over the last five months, LiveClips has recently moved into larger offices previously occupied by Oracle® Corporation in Stamford, Connecticut. LiveClips offices include a state-of-the-art video and data center, where sports action is processed in real-time for its broadcasting and sports clients.
