Marketing Veteran Carolyn Hodge Joins Locaid Technologies as CMO
SAN FRANCISCO and MIAMI, Jan. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Locaid Technologies, the world's first and largest Location-as-a-Service (LaaS) company, today announced that Carolyn Hodge has joined as chief marketing officer. Hodge's recent successes include leading marketing and brand development for TRUSTe, a privacy-certification company, and advising startups such as Urban Mapping.

As Locaid CMO, Hodge will be tasked with communicating company accomplishments, including signing more than 100 customers in 2010, launching on all tier one North America operators, and 886 percent increase in API calls with a 99 percent uptime to name a few. In addition, Hodge is working directly with key customers such as AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Life360 and TCS, and finalizing Locaid's 2012 strategies. She also is responsible for managing channel and developer partnerships and community relations.
As TRUSTe vice president of marketing, Hodge was part of a management team that raised series A funding from Accel Partners and led the company through a period of rapid growth and brand development. During her tenure, TRUSTe launched a mobile privacy advisory council that included participants from the Mobile Marketing Association and Verizon Wireless.
