Mauro Montanaro, 43, has been named Chief
Executive Officer of Jamba, one of the world’s leading providers of mobile
entertainment.

Mr. Montanaro joins Jamba
after more than a decade at Nokia, where he most recently headed cell phone
sales and channel development for the South East Asia Pacific region. In his new
role, beginning on February 4th, Mr. Montanaro will report to Jamba’s Board of
Directors.

Jamba, a joint venture
between News Corporation (NYSE: NWS, NWS.A) and VeriSign (NASDAQ:VRSN) serves 35
territories around the world with a wide array of mobile products and services.
It also houses the assets of Fox Mobile Entertainment.

Commenting on Mr.
Montanaro’s appointment, Peter Chernin, President and Chief Operating Officer of
News Corporation said: “Mauro’s considerable experience in developing mobile
content channels and services will be a huge asset as Jamba continues to expand
its reach and offering. Over the past few months, COO Lee Fenton has done a
terrific job in moving the company forward and we think we’re in a position
today to make a significant impact on the global wireless market. We look
forward to building on that success and believe Mauro and Lee will make a
first-class management team.”

Mr. Montanaro first joined
cell phone giant Nokia in 1996 in strategy development at the company’s
Helsinki
headquarters. He was appointed Head of Strategy for Asia Pacific a year later
and spent the next 10 years serving in a variety of key positions in that
rapidly expanding region for the company.

As Director of the Imaging
Business Unit (2002-04), he helped drive new growth in the mobile phone market
with imaging capabilities by leveraging new business opportunities in the shift
from voice to visual communications. As Vice President, Sales and Channel
Management for the Multimedia

Business Group (2004-06),
he oversaw the sales and channel development for cellular handsets and mobile
content services including imaging, games and mobile enhancements, as well as
creating new regional channels.

For the past two years at
Nokia, Mr. Montanaro served as Vice President, Sales, Customer and Market
Operations for the South East Asia Pacific region, supervising handset sales and
channel development for 16 countries in eight time zones in the fastest growing
cellular market in the world.

Mr. Montanaro said: “I am
thrilled to be joining Jamba at a point in its evolution where we have a real
opportunity to influence the future of mobile entertainment. The global market
for wireless entertainment is exploding and we have the unique ability to
produce, market and distribute mobile content and services globally. It’s an
enviable position and I look forward to working closely with Lee and the teams
in Los Angeles, Berlin and around the world to capitalize on
it.”
