Aim of Sale
With faster data transfer speeds of cellular networks, development of PC data communication terminals, such as data cards or USB terminals, has become extremely active. However, market demand for smaller terminals, which required more power output due to greater data traffic, created the issue of needing to limit heat accumulation as much as possible.
Mitsubishi Electric's new GaAs power amplifiers achieve an industry-leading power added efficiency (PAE) of 45 percent, contributing to lower power consumption and heat emission.
Product Features
1) Industry-leading power added efficiency of 45%, line up covers five major frequency bands
- An industry-leading PAE of 45% at maximum output power of 670mW helps reduce energy consumption and limits heat emission in data communication terminals
- Incorporates GaAs bipolar field effect transistor (BiFET) technology for high PAE and high level of integration
- Series line up covers the five major frequency bands available in North America, Europe and Asia
2) Built-in coupler and attenuator
- The amplifiers include a coupler monitoring the output power and an attenuator that switches the power gain
- Small 3 mm x 3 mm x 1 mm mold package
3) Compliant with environmental directives
- Fully compliant with the European Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) directive
- Completely halogen-free, based on IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 61249-2-21
