MobileMax Issues Retraction to June 6 Press Release
HERZELIA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fixed mobile convergence solutions developer MobileMax Technologies Ltd. (TASE:MBMX) today issued a retraction to its June 6 press release entitled “MobileMax signs first US cellular deal" which inaccurately stated it had signed a deal with one of the largest mobile operators in the U.S. and that 8x8, Inc. would market a new MobileMax VoIP service to the customers of this mobile operator. MobileMax wishes to clarify that it signed a supply agreement with 8x8 (and not directly with a mobile operator) according to which it will provide the software to 8x8. Both of these statements were inaccurate and MobileMax apologizes for any confusion the press release may have caused. MobileMax is a technology supplier to 8x8 that provides the software used in the company’s MobileTalk mobile international calling service.
