Motricity Names Former AT&T Mobility Exec and Industry Pioneer Jim Ryan as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer

Jim Ryan is widely recognized as a pioneer in the mobile data industry, with more than 15 years of senior management experience, building, packaging, marketing and distributing value-added wireless services across the U.S., Europe and Asia. Mr. Ryan is considered an industry leader most notably from his time as vice president of consumer data services for AT&T Mobility, where he helped grow the business from $250M to over $4B in just three years. Prior to AT&T, Mr. Ryan was a key leader behind the data services businesses at Sprint PCS and O2 in Europe when the idea of mobile data was still in its infancy. These early efforts are still yielding significant returns as Sprint and O2 continue to deliver some of the world's leading data ARPUs today. Over the past two years, Mr. Ryan has been focusing his efforts on assisting early stage businesses capitalize on the tremendous opportunities present in the global mobile data market.
