Update Delivers CIS-Certified Coverage for Microsoft and Cisco

Six new configuration policies certified by the Center for Internet Security (CIS) join the over one hundred policies already available in CCM, expanding nCircle’s industry-leading coverage of common operating system and platform configurations. Enterprises can compare any asset on their network against configurable CCM policies, making it easy to benchmark the configuration state of their assets against industry best practices.

CIS benchmarks are technical controls developed through a consensus review process and are designed to improve the security configuration of enterprise systems and devices. The benchmarks are widely accepted by U.S. government agencies for FISMA compliance, and by auditors for compliance with PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, and other information security-centric regulatory requirements. CIS benchmarks provide detailed configurations of systems that improve the security posture of the applicable assets.
