FIC Launches First of Many 4G Mobile Broadband Slates and Handheld Devices
TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First International Computer, Inc. (FIC), a world leader in the design and production of electronic devices, today announced the launch of its next-generation Slate PC product line with embedded 4G mobile broadband connectivity based on Beceem’s industry-leading BCSM250 4G-WiMAX single-chip solution. The new FIC Slate PC, which is being launched at this year’s Computex show, is ushering in a new product line of ultra-connected FIC computing and entertainment platforms that are designed to take advantage of the rapidly growing global 4G footprint.
