Nokia’s Stephen Elop Keynotes Open Mobile Summit in London This Week
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Leaders from the mobile, internet and media industry will be meeting this Wednesday June 8th and Thursday, June 9th at the annual Open Mobile Summit in London. Stephen Elop is keynoting the event as anticipation grows for a first glimpse of Nokia’s Windows phone.
How to catch Apple in the tablet wars is expected to dominate discussions between the global OEM’s out in force for this year’s event. Elop will be joined by Corporate Vice Presidents of Motorola, LG Electronics, Sony Ericsson and HTC for a discussion on the future of devices.
Elsewhere in the agenda, Amazon’s mobile category lead, Aaron Rubenson shares how Amazon hopes to monetize Android with their new app store. This alongside Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka - behind Angry Birds - one of the most acclaimed apps of the year.
