SEATTLE - (Business Wire) Ontela, Inc. (http://www.ontela.com), provider of award-winning imaging services for wireless carriers, announced today that the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone available from T-Mobile USA provides easy access to Ontela’s Photobucket Mobile Uploader service. Photobucket Mobile Uploader lets customers automatically deliver their pictures to their PC’s “My Pictures” folder, their private or public Photobucket album, and their personal e-mail address. The service is free for a full three weeks, and $2.99/month thereafter.

“This makes it easier than ever to get pictures off your phone,” said Dan Shapiro, CEO of Ontela. “Users with the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone simply need to click “OK” on the Photobucket icon to configure and start their free trial. Then every picture, old or new, big or small will be delivered. Our automatic configuration technology and easy to use service take it from there!”

“Photobucket is committed to offering mobile services that perfectly complement our web services,” said Alex Welch, CEO of Photobucket. “The Photobucket Mobile Uploader provides a seamless extension to the imaging ecosystem so that anyone with a camera phone can upload pictures quickly and easily to Photobucket.”

Ontela recently won the Red Herring 100 North America award and was named “Breakthrough Startup of the Year” by the Washington Technology Industry Association. Its products are available on over 100 handsets from 30 wireless carriers.
