Oracle is Sued by Klausner Technologies for Visual Voicemail Patent Infringement

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Klausner Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has filed suit against Oracle Corporation (ORCL:NASDAQ) for patent infringement under its U.S. Visual Voicemail patents.

The lawsuit is based on the sales in the United States of Oracle’s enterprise messaging products which allow users to visually identify and selectively retrieve enterprise voicemail and which infringe the Klausner Technologies Visual Voicemail Patents.

Klausner Technologies currently has 34 Visual Voicemail patent licensees under its U.S., European, and Asian patents, including major U.S. and European mobile operators, international cell phone manufacturers, cable/VOIP providers as well as providers of Visual Voicemail products and services for the enterprise market.

The suit has been filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas by the New York law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.
