Multi-Technology, LTE MIMO Capable Receiver Expands Diversity’s Market-leading Benchmarking Performance

(NASDAQ: PCTI), a leader in antenna and scanning receiver solutions, and SwissQual AG, a leading network test system provider, announced today the integration and support of PCTEL’s recently released SeeGull® MX scanning receiver as part of SwissQual’s Diversity product family.
SwissQual’s Diversity system is used globally by approximately 200 leading wireless operators for benchmarking, optimization, and network monitoring of today’s complex mobile networks, including emerging LTE MIMO technology. Designed to support the challenges of LTE deployment while managing changes to existing networks, the Diversity system integrates the SeeGull MX scanning receiver to provide RF measurements concurrently from multiple operator networks.

The concurrent scanning capability of the SeeGull MX enables measurement collection across these networks without degradation of measurement density, sensitivity, or quality. The combination of SwissQual’s Diversity system and PCTEL’s SeeGull MX scanning receiver sets a new measurement performance standard for benchmarking drive test solutions.
