Personal Communications Devices Announces New Advanced Devices Division
Joseph Cufari, New Division Vice President, to Debut Division's First Netbook at CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2009
HAUPPAUGE, NY and SAN DIEGO, CA (October 7, 2009) - Personal Communications Devices, LLC (PCD) a leading provider of wireless devices to carriers in North and South America, announced that it will be showcasing product from its newly created Advanced Devices Division at PCD's booth (#401) during CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment 2009.
PCD's new Advanced Devices Division will encompass products such as netbooks, Mobile Internet Devices and other converged devices that are embedded with wireless communications. The division will expand PCD's current product portfolio for its carrier partners, create new opportunities for its global manufacturers and strengthen PCD's position as a leading supplier of advanced communication devices.
PCD's Advanced Devices Division will be headed by Joseph Cufari, a 20-year veteran of the wireless and telecommunications industries. At Wireless I.T. and Entertainment, PCD will reveal its first product for the Advanced Devices Division - an innovative netbook that's lighter and thinner than many of the netbooks currently on the marketplace. The device's pioneering features also include a camera and flip screen.
