EarthLink Announces Additional Funding to HELIO Joint Venture

ATLANTA, July 25 -- EarthLink, Inc. today announced that EarthLink and SK Telecom have entered into a lending arrangement with HELIO, their wireless voice and data services joint venture, whereby each could provide up to $100 million in additional funding to HELIO, subject to future approval of funding requirements. EarthLink and SK Telecom have each approved initial funding of $30 million, to be made on or about July 27, 2007. EarthLink and SK Telecom had each previously announced that HELIO would require additional funding in 2007.
