QuickPlay Media Powers the Debut of Video on Alltel Wireless’ Celltop Service

QuickPlay Media, the leader in mobile TV and video solutions, today announced that Alltel Wireless (NYSE:
AT) has deployed QuickPlay’s OpenVideo™
platform to power Celltop’s new streaming
video capabilities. To introduce the service, Alltel is offering four
new video cells that offer the latest entertainment, horoscopes, extreme
sports and wellness content from NBC, MTV, E!, Gaiam and other sources.
The launch of Celltop’s video-on-demand
service further establishes QuickPlay in the U.S. market and follows the
company’s expansion of its global presence
with new offices in San Francisco and London.
