Recursion Releases Symbian Toolkit Library With Source Code
Recursion Software, Inc., an innovative provider of mobile middleware and development tools, announced today the extension of its popular C++ Toolkit(TM) development library to the Symbian platform. C++ Toolkits offer libraries with modules for advanced templates and collections, threading, streaming, networking, time and more, that enable developers to build applications rapidly and reuse the same C++ code seamlessly on mobile, embedded and desktop platforms. The library comes with complete source code and no run-time fees, the only commercially available solution to offer this value.
Fully tested and commercially hardened over 10 years, the C++ Toolkit has long been a stable of desktop and server application development. With the mobile software space experiencing unprecedented growth, mobile developers need the same tools that enable desktop developers to code applications rapidly and efficiently, with as much code reuse as possible. C++ Toolkit is designed for this exact purpose. It offers the breadth of functionality and over 500 examples that Recursion provides in a single unified, adaptable solution.
"Adding Symbian to our existing mobile and embedded platforms solidifies Recursion's leadership in the mobile arena," said Bob DeAnna, chief technology officer, Recursion Software. "The many customer requests we have received over the years to extend our toolkit libraries to various platforms including most recently to those well known in the mobile and embedded arena, confirms their value in the marketplace."
Recursion is currently offering a free 30-day evaluation of the Symbian Toolkit library. Contact the Recursion Sales Department to arrange a trial or visit www.recursionsw.com for more information.
