SK C&C USA Announces Key Appointments to Management Team

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SK C&C USA, a leading innovator and global provider of mobile commerce solutions, today announced the appointment of five wireless and payment industry veterans. Jun Hong, Jon Squire, Steve Bacastow, Charles Wiggs and Kevin Zhu all have joined the management team at SK C&C USA in Atlanta, Ga.

Ltd, brings the experience, market proven technology and the resources needed to enable a successful mCommerce roadmap and execution for financial institutions, retailers, mobile network operators (MNOs) and other services providers. With the core team now in place and the recent announcement of their partnership with First Data Corporation, SK C&C USA is well positioned to be the key player in launching mCommerce both in North America and abroad.

Jun S. Hong, CTO and SVP, Product Development, has over two decades of experience in telecommunications, networking and security at LG Electronics USA, Coree Networks and Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs. His current responsibilities include research and product development for SK C&C.

Jon Squire, SVP, Business Development & Strategy, brings over 18 years of business and product development experience in financial services. Squire was SVP of Mobile Payments at mFoundry, where he spearheaded one of the largest mobile payment initiatives in market, with a specialty retailer. Launching the first national mobile P2P offering while driving two carrier mobile wallets, Squire is well known for leading edge work with NFC and barcode technologies that integrate with the point-of-sale.

Steve Bacastow, SVP, Service & Delivery, has responsibility for overseeing the localization and deployment of SK C&C USA. He has held senior positions in the payment, security and technology industries. As co-founder and CEO of Collective Dynamics, Bacastow served in a senior strategic role to both banks and payment processors.

Charles Wiggs, VP, Sales, has responsibility for developing and executing the company’s sales and market development strategy for financial institutions, retailers and mobile network operators. Previously Wiggs held executive level positions with 3Cinteractive, Tachyon Network and MCI, including the management of MCI’s prepaid calling card business.

Kevin Zhu, VP, Product Management and Technology Development, has led large, complex product and technology development in mobile, financial services and engineering. Zhu has led Sprint’s product and technology development for mobile payment and mCommerce. Prior to Sprint, he held key positions with GE, DST System and Black & Veatch.
