LONGMONT, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Intrado Inc., a leading provider of 9-1-1 technology solutions, today announced an agreement to provide emergency communications services to Atlanta-based regional wireless carrier SouthernLINC Wireless, a Southern Company (NYSE: SO).
Under the terms of the agreement, Intrado is providing SouthernLINC Wireless with a broad suite of value-based solutions, including wireless Phase I and Phase II services that help 9-1-1 centers determine a caller’s physical location.
“Intrado is very pleased to have been selected by SouthernLINC Wireless as its provider of wireless 9-1-1 services,” said Dami Hummel, vice president and general manager of the Intrado Mobility Division. “We appreciate the opportunity to support SouthernLINC Wireless in its efforts to streamline its 9-1-1 operations and help protect the property and lives of its subscribers.”
