Swagit Premieres Hands-Free Mobile Broadcast and Streaming System at Government Video Expo 2010

Attendees at the 2010 Government Video Expo will be the first to see the fully automated mobile broadcast and streaming system.

These solutions require no additional staff or resources and can be operated locally by clients or remotely by trained Swagit staff from the company’s headquarters in Plano, Texas.
The Cosmos Mobile Broadcast System includes a four input switcher, two 7” LCD monitors, one 17” rackmount monitor and two ViewCast Niagara 2120 streaming encoders in a 16U shock mount mobile case with attached side table.
Initial orders for the Cosmos Mobile system are expected to begin shipping March 1, 2011, with all first quarter build and deployment slots already sold out. “We had such an overwhelming response when we first announced the development of an automated mobile broadcast system that existing clients began requesting preorder production slots,” said Halley. “This reaffirms that there is a growing effort to enhance citizens’ visibility into the decision-making processes that shape public policy.
