AT&T Scores With Exclusive New NCAA Football Content From ESPN College GameDay Commentators

SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Can't get enough college football? Neither can AT&T. The company today announced that it's teaming up with popular ESPN College GameDay host Chris Fowler and analyst Kirk Herbstreit this fall for "Confessions of a College Football Junkie," a series of weekly video clips available exclusively on AT&T 3G wireless handsets. America's favorite college football experts will go out of bounds and off the cuff on all things college football and deliver it straight to the mobile screens of AT&T customers.

"This is a great addition to the mobile video content lineup for AT&T customers who love everything about Saturday mornings during football season," said Dave Garver, executive director of Business Development and Wireless Sponsorships for AT&T's wireless unit. "This relationship with Chris and Kirk allows us to offer their expertise to the wireless phones of passionate college football fans."

"Confessions of a College Football Junkie" features passionate and unique discussions available exclusively to AT&T customers. The two-minute videos are available every Saturday morning throughout college football season. They begin at 10 a.m. ET and take fans up close and personal with Herbstreit and Fowler as they discuss a host of college football topics.

"College football fans can never get enough of their favorite teams, players and perspectives," said Herbstreit. "We're excited to give AT&T customers even more of the insight and content they want, all season long."

New two-minute video clips will be available each week of the regular season through the conference championships in December, and two additional videos will be available between the conference championships and the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 8. Fans can also access the AT&T College Football portal on their 3G wireless phones for scoreboard updates and news, as well as to download 3D graphics and animations, music tones, answer tones and fun packs from their favorite schools. Each download is an entry into a sweepstakes with 101 chances to win official collegiate swag from FansEdge.com.
