SUNNYVALE, Calif. – June 30, 2008 – Agito Networks, Inc.™, the award-winning company delivering new
technology in enterprise mobility, today announced that it has closed
its Series B round of financing, raising approximately $13 million.
Castile Ventures led the investment round, with ITX International
Holdings Inc. also participating, and original investor Battery
Ventures increasing its investment as well. The Series B round will
help fund Agito Networks’ enterprise fixed mobile convergence (eFMC)
market expansion and product development.

The
company also announced today that it has named David Leonard, former
vice president and general manager of the Cisco Wireless Networking
Business Unit and Desktop Switching Business Unit as the Executive
Chairman of Agito’s Board of Directors. While at Cisco, Mr. Leonard
helped grow its wireless and Ethernet product lines to the number one
industry ranking in their respective markets.

Agito
Networks’ award-winning RoamAnywhere™ Mobility Router is the industry’s
first and only business mobile convergence platform that uses RF-based,
location-aware technologies to reliably mobilize voice over 802.11
wireless LANs (VoWLAN) and data applications, while remaining agnostic
to enterprise customers’ choices of mobile carriers. It supports all
leading IP-PBX and WLAN equipment vendors to uniquely fuse 802.11
wireless LANs, enterprise IP telephony, and the carrier cellular
network, improving mobile worker accessibility and responsiveness to
increase mobile worker productivity. Agito’s innovative,
patent-pending location-aware technology allows enterprises to mobilize
voice by taking full advantage of their 802.11 WLAN deployments as a
low-cost alternative to cellular networks for in-building enterprise
mobility. Its patent-pending technology ensures that in-building calls
stay on the enterprise WLAN (using VoWLAN), to reduce cellular expenses
and eliminate dropped or poor quality calls.

Agito
Networks also announced that Carl Stjernfeldt, general partner at
Castile Ventures, has been named to its Board of Directors. Along with
Mr. Leonard, Mr. Stjernfeldt joins existing board members Ken Lawler,
general partner at Battery Ventures; Jason Matlof, partner at Battery
Ventures; Timothy Olson, Agito Networks CTO and co-founder; and Pejman
Roshan, VP of Marketing and co-founder.

“Agito’s
inventive platform creates clear value for enterprises by keeping
mobile users connected and productive wherever they are,” said Mr.
Stjernfeldt. “Due to its market-transforming algorithms, Agito’s
solution is carrier-agnostic and delivers seamless, automatic handoff
between WiFi and cellular networks, which previously had been a hurdle
to broad market adoption of FMC products. In addition, the Agito
solution integrates well with the existing enterprise infrastructure.
Having invested in the communications sector for a decade, Castile
recognizes the innovativeness of this disruptive solution and the
visionary leadership of the founders. I am excited to join the board
and to work with the team to reach the next level of success.”

“I
have been watching Agito since its start and through its climb into the
leadership position in the enterprise FMC space, and am pleased to join
with its executive team to help the company continue to grow,” said Mr.
Leonard. “This Series B investment is important for Agito as it looks
to continue to expand and penetrate key markets. The valuable
perspective and experience that Carl brings to the board will serve us
well. In addition, having ITX International on board opens up a wealth
of channels in overseas markets, which we intend to fully leverage.”

“Today’s
investment climate requires a determined focus on real customer value
and a clear differentiation, and Agito Networks has both of these
attributes,” said Naoki Yamamoto of ITX International. “We invested in
Agito because we see Agito’s solutions enabling enterprises to realize
the full potential of unified communications/fixed mobile convergence,
while leveraging their existing resources. We have already seen some
strong interest from our contacts overseas, and are looking forward to
helping Agito with its international expansion.”

About Agito Networks
Agito Networks is the award-winning technology leader in enterprise

vendors. Agito Networks enables low-cost in-building voice coverage,
reduced cellular costs, improved enterprise visibility and control over
cellular usage, and better accessibility and responsiveness for mobile
workers. VON Magazine named Agito Networks a Top Innovator Award winner, while RoamAnywhere

Dialogic and Broadvox Team Up to Deliver SIP Trunking Service

Parsippany, New Jersey — 06.26.08 — Dialogic Corporation (“Dialogic”),
a global provider of world-class products and technologies for media
and signal processing and Broadvox LLC (“Broadvox”), a worldwide leader
in providing integrated managed VoIP services to SMB, Enterprise and
Carrier customers, today announced the interoperability of the
Dialogic® 2000 Media Gateway Series and Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking. The
combined service and hardware solution enables SMB and enterprise
customers the ability to deploy the flexible and cost effective SIP
trunking service with legacy PBX and key telephone systems.

Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking products provide significant cost savings of
up to 70% when compared to traditional telecom services. Customers
receive unlimited local calling with discounted toll-free, nationwide
and international calling. Service options include E911, DIDs and local
number portability, allowing businesses to keep their current phone
numbers.

The Dialogic® 2000 Media Gateway Series
(DMG2000 Series) provides a SIP trunk interface to the Broadvox service
with T1/E1 trunk interfaces to the PBX or hybrid key telephone system.
The DMG2000 Series is noted for its ease of use through web-based
configuration interface and reliable 1U rack mount appliance design. A
range of TDM interface densities from single T1/E1 to quad T1/E1 and
‘stackability’ provides a competitive SIP trunking interface for
businesses with 50 or more users.

“The arrival of SIP trunk service, delivered
by providers such as Broadvox, is similar to the value proposition and
market disruption seen with deregulation of the US long distance
services market in the 1980’s” notes Jim Machi, Senior VP of Marketing
at Dialogic. “This time it’s even better for business since the cost
advantage covers both local and long distance service. To date, most of
the market has focused on introducing SIP trunks with the purchase of
an IP-PBX. Our DMG2000 Series of appliance gateways are a cost
effective way to open up the much larger market – the installed base of
SMB and enterprise customers that continue to get good service from
their existing telephone system, but want the benefits of SIP trunking
now.”

Dialogic recently introduced two new models
to the DMG2000 Series with failover relays that further enhance their
use with SIP trunk services. The failover feature enables the gateway
to switch back to conventional PSTN service in the event of service
disruption over the broadband IP connection. This can provide extra
assurance to customers eager to take advantage of SIP trunks, while
keeping a traditional PSTN route available as a backup or alternate
calling route.

"The Dialogic® 2000 Media Gateway Series is a
terrific complement to the Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking service.
Interoperability with Dialogic means that Broadvox VARs can offer any
medium to large SMB or enterprise customer an easy to deploy
communication solution by replacing or supplementing a legacy PSTN
service with SIP trunks without making a major IP-PBX investment. The
ability to insert the gateway between the existing phone system and the
SIP trunking service delivers maximum benefit with minimal disruption
to the legacy infrastructure. Plus, it provides savings on monthly
telecom costs while providing the foundation to move toward an all VoIP
SIP-based system in the future.” said David Byrd, VP Marketing and
Sales at Broadvox.

To make it easy for interested VARs to try out
the DMG2000 series, Dialogic has announced a Starter Kit Program for
the Dialogic® Media Gateway Series which provides training, support and
a generous discount on initial gateway purchases. More information
about this program is available at www.dialogic.com

About Broadvox
Founded in 2001, Broadvox is a worldwide leader in providing integrated
managed VoIP services to SMB, Enterprise and Carrier customers. It has

IP, and TDM solutions for Network Service Providers and Enterprise

Limited Budgets Driving Small and Medium-sized Enterprises toward Hosted IP Telephony

Palo Alto, Calif. — June 4, 2008 — The availability
of hosted Internet Protocol private branch eXchange (IP PBX) or hosted
IP Centrex services has increased manifold in the last 24 months,
stimulating its adoption among enterprise customers in North America.
The increase in competitive intensity has also forced vendors to carve
various niches to generate higher profitability. Simultaneously,
vendors are enhancing their offerings, expanding distribution channels,
as well as investing resources in generating brand awareness.

New analysis from Frost & Sullivan (http://www.enterprisecommunications.frost.com), North American Hosted IP Telephony and VoIP Access Service Markets, finds that the number of users is likely to increase from 860,000 in 2007 to nearly 4 million in 2013.

If you are interested in a virtual brochure, which provides
manufacturers, end users, and other industry participants with an
overview of the North American hosted IP telephony and voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) access service markets, then send an e-mail to Mireya Castilla, Corporate Communications, at mireya.castilla@frost.com,
with your full name, company name, title, telephone number, company
e-mail address, company website, city, state and country. Upon receipt
of the above information, an overview will be sent to you by e-mail.

"Hosted IP telephony and VoIP access services provide enterprises
with an advanced telephony solution without the capital and operating
expense associated with expensive network upgrades," notes Frost & Sullivan Program Manager Imran Khan. "Apart from the capital and
staffing-related cost savings associated with hosted IP telephony,
enterprise customers are also able to benefit from the business
continuity capability inherent in hosted or network-based
telecommunication solutions."

The lack of hefty capital investment budgets on the part of many
small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will be the key driver for the
North American hosted IP telephony and VoIP access service markets.
These enterprises are increasingly looking to reap the benefits of
IP-based services and hosted IP telephony that enable them to utilize
telephony capabilities that are at par with large enterprises, at only
a fraction of the cost.

However, the lack of in-house IT staff in SMEs can also delay the
adoption of advanced/new IT/telecom solutions. The lack of IT personnel
can often lead to limited understanding and awareness of various
technology solutions, as smaller entrepreneurs struggle to address core
operating challenges such as workforce management.

"Negative perceptions surrounding traditional Centrex services are
also likely to impact the overall enterprise attitude toward hosted IP
telephony during the next year or so, thereby restricting adoption,"
says Khan. "Vendor reliability concerns will also prevent several
enterprises, specifically within the medium and large enterprise
segments, from adopting the solution."

Overall, the key success factors for hosted IP telephony VoIP access
providers have not changed much over the past 12 months or so. Service
quality, reliability, provisioning, pricing, and feature diversity
still remain the leading vendor evaluation criteria for enterprises
seeking such solutions.

North American Hosted IP Telephony and VoIP Access Service Markets is part of the Enterprise Communications Growth Partnership Service program, which also includes research
services in the following markets: Enterprise vertical markets,
Enterprise product penetration and spending trends, and Enterprise
telephony solutions. All research services included in subscriptions
provide detailed market opportunities and industry trends that have
been evaluated following extensive interviews with market participants.
Interviews with the press are available.

Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company,
partners with clients to accelerate their growth. The company's TEAM
Research, Growth Consulting and Growth Team Membership empower clients
to create a growth-focused culture that generates, evaluates and
implements effective growth strategies. Frost & Sullivan employs over 45 years of experience in partnering with Global 1000
companies, emerging businesses and the investment community from more
than 30 offices on six continents. For more information about Frost & Sullivan's Growth Partnerships, visit http://www.frost.com.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Apr 29, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ADTRAN(R), Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTN), a leading supplier of IP-based networking solutions, today announced that it is expanding its NetVanta(R)7000 Series of IP Telephony products with the introduction of the NetVanta 7060 Modular IP PBX. The NetVanta 7060 is an integrated IP telephony solution that provides business-class IP PBX features such as voice mail and auto attendant along with a 24-port Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch in a single compact platform. This device is ideally suited for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) requiring up to 50 stations per location.

"The NetVanta 7060 comes as the result of requests for a platform that will economically support the transition to VoIP for those customers choosing to leverage their existing data network infrastructure," said Tim Saunders, vice president of product management, ADTRAN Enterprise Networks Division. "This product builds upon the integrated voice features of our NetVanta 7100 IP Communications Platform and allows SMBs and distributed enterprise customers to make the transition to VoIP with a single platform."

This IP PBX offers a wealth of functionality including integrated voice mail (12 hours, eight ports) and a multilevel auto attendant. The NetVanta 7060 also provides a number of popular key system features such as Shared Line Appearance and Busy Lamp Field /Direct Station Select. It offers flexible network connectivity with support for SIP Trunking, T1/PRI and analog connections. The system eliminates the need for ancillary equipment with an integrated 802.3af 24-port PoE switch supporting 802.1Q VLANs and 802.1p Class of Service.

Ease of use features are at the center of the design of this platform. The NetVanta 7060 is very easy to use and install, offering a robust Graphical User Interface (GUI) with getting started menus and wizards that simplify configuration and management. In addition, graphics-based Voice Quality Monitoring (VQM) is inherent in the device. This allows network administrators to monitor Mean Opinion Scores (MOS) and other critical VoIP parameters to quickly and easily identify and correct Quality of Service (QoS) issues on the voice network.

In addition to the introduction of the NetVanta 7060, ADTRAN also announced the availability of a number of new features for the NetVanta 7000 Series, including: SIP Trunking, SIP proxy (eliminating the need for an external SIP ALG device), system scheduler, the ability to function as a wireless controller, and VQM. The NetVanta 7060 fully equipped with 24 ADTRAN 706 IP phones lists at approximately $411 per station. The NetVanta 7060 will begin shipping in June in North America. ADTRAN has also lowered the price of the NetVanta 7100 IP Communications Platform. A fully equipped system with 24 ADTRAN IP 706 phones retails for approximately $450 per station.

The Nortel-based offerings, leveraging the Nortel Communication Server 1000 IP-PBX, Business Communications Manager and CallPilot platforms, enable advanced voice applications such as "find me, follow me," and integrated communications that allow for multimedia collaboration. They also help companies move to a unified communications platform to simplify and integrate a variety of business communications functions such as voice mail, e-mail and instant messaging. For example, end-users can see who is online, or they can prompt the system to prioritize incoming messages and send alerts to end-user devices.

Verizon Business' support for the offering includes full implementation, as well as management of fault, configuration, accounting, performance and security functions. The company's managed approach enables businesses to help reduce the complexity associated with a converged IP telephony environment.

"Many of our customers want to modernize their voice and data communications infrastructure using IP and are considering managed services as a way to deal with the complexity inherent in that," said Nancy Gofus, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Verizon Business. "As IP transformation continues, this remains a sweet spot for us."

In a separate news release issued today, Verizon Business announced other enhancements to its VoIP portfolio that are designed to make the move to VoIP easier.

Verizon has extensive experience in working with the Nortel platform, having deployed more than 155,000 Nortel PBXs, and currently maintains more than 29,000 Nortel systems. The company also has set up more than 4,800 Nortel IP telephony platforms. Verizon Business supports the managed Nortel IP PBX platform with end-to-end expert technical and support staff who collectively hold more than 1,000 Nortel certifications for design, support, technology and sales. The offering is backed by Verizon Business' industry-leading service level guarantees.

The Managed Service Advantage

Many companies today are realizing that managed services offer the best of all worlds. Managed services can help enterprises overcome the inherent complexity associated with moving voice applications onto data networks, especially since problems on the local or wide area network can be misconstrued as issues with the IP PBX. Enterprises also are finding managed services offer a cost-effective and efficient method for streamlining network management for converged networks, including the integration of headquarters, branch and remote sites. In addition, Verizon Business provides ongoing support that helps reduce requirements for in-house technical support and 24 x 7 monitoring systems.

Verizon Business offers a suite of professional network and security services to help customers successfully deploy and manage their IP telephony platforms. These range from network assessment and design consulting to project management and capacity planning. Other services include network vulnerability and VoIP security assessments to help develop and maintain proper security profiles.

This new Managed IP PBX option joins Verizon's comprehensive portfolio of VoIP services, including IP Flexible T1, IP Integrated Access, IP Trunking, Hosted IP Centrex and Managed IP PBX. These services leverage robust, flexible platforms that provide high-quality voice communications, an expansive national and international footprint and many advanced features - all of which afford customers a smooth, flexible transition to VoIP on their own path and pace. The VoIP services also allow customers to utilize their existing infrastructure, enabling them to mix and match services, whether network or premises-based.

NetPBX is first hosted Asterisk® PBX with integrated SIP Trunking and preconfigured VoIP handsets

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 16, 2007 -- Aretta Communications, a premier provider of hosted, virtualized IP-PBX solutions for small businesses, today announced the availability of NetPBX, the first hosted Asterisk-based IP-PBX offering with integrated SIP Trunking and preconfigured VoIP handsets, specifically designed to meet the unique communications needs of the SMB market.

NetPBX is a robust IP-PBX based on the open source Asterisk® PBX software application. Aretta bundles the hosted PBX with an integrated SIP Trunking offering for inbound and outbound calling as well as preconfigured VoIP handsets from leading suppliers like Polycom. Historically, users of Asterisk-based PBXs were forced to integrate components from multiple vendors for the server, trunking and handsets. By combining these components, Aretta greatly simplifies the installation and integration of an Asterisk® IP-PBX solution.

"Small businesses have historically been ill-served by hosted communications solutions that either do not offer pricing scalability if more than a handful of extensions are needed, or lack the all-inclusive features that users require," said Marc Fribush, President of Aretta Communications. "With NetPBX, small businesses finally have their own full-featured Asterisk-based IP-PBX that can be up and running in minutes with an unlimited number of extensions -- there is no hardware to buy, no installation fees and no a-la-carte charges for PBX features."

Aretta's hosted Asterisk® IP-PBX servers leverage SWsoft's industry-leading Virtuozzo virtualization platform, which allows multiple instances of the Asterisk® open source PBX application to be placed on a single hardware server at Aretta's telecom data centers. This enables Aretta to effectively contain IT infrastructure, realize hardware resource optimization and, in turn, offer small businesses a low cost, full-featured communications solution.

"Hosting Asterisk® IP-PBX servers in a secure data center environment optimized for telecom application hosting means there is no longer any reason for small businesses to incur the major expense of building and managing an IP-PBX on the premises," added Fribush.

With all of Aretta's hosted virtual Asterisk® packages, small businesses do not need to buy, build or maintain any PC hardware, download any distribution or install any software. Aretta offers SIP Trunking and preconfigured VoIP handsets which can be purchased separately or bundled together with NetPBX. Aretta currently has customers deploying the following hosted communication applications:

Hosted Asterisk® PBX

Hosted Outbound Dialing based on VICIDIAL

SIP Trunking

Hosted IVR and Auto Attendant

Hosted Conference Calling

Pricing is based on maximum number of simultaneous calls required and starts at just $29.95 per month for a full-featured hosted IP-PBX with an unlimited number of extensions. For additional information on Aretta's NetPBX hosted virtual IP-PBX packages, visit http://www.aretta.com or call 1-800-732-1910 (1-404-478-2200 outside the US and Canada).
