TexTango Supports Local Humane Society
Company will donate ½ a cent for every text sent this month to the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TexTango, a free mobile application for text messaging, today announced its support for the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA. For every text sent in the month of June, TexTango will donate ½ a cent to the San Diego Humane Society.
Serving San Diego County since 1880, the San Diego Humane Society provides vital services to animals and people alike. TexTango support in the month of June will provide services and care for animals in need and the variety of programs offered by the Society, a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization sustained almost entirely by donations.
Members should notify TexTango that they are interested in supporting the San Diego Humane Society this month by either sending us a note on Facebook or emailing us at tango@textango.com.
“Our hope is that through donating a portion of each text message sent throughout the month, we can make a difference for a longstanding and reputable organization in our community,” said Russell McHugh of TexTango. “Many of us have adopted animals from the San Diego Humane Society, and we always wish we could do more. We believe that ‘giving is living,’ which is why we promote both local and nationally-recognized charitable organizations, free of charge. We are happy to add the San Diego Humane Society to the list.”
As the month comes to a close, members can also donate their earnings from June (all or a portion) to the San Diego Humane Society through TexTango.
