TNS, Fully Integrates Cequint Following Acquisition

November 9, 2012,:RESTON, Va:  Transaction Network Services (NYSE: TNS) reorganizes its Telecommunication Services  Division (TSD) to integrate its Cequint subsidiary and focus efforts on serving both the wireless and wireline markets with its broad suite of services. TNS has completed the integration of the acquired Cequint and announced the positions of the senior team. The reshuffle sees Cequint CEO Rick Hennessey at the helm of the division, who will lead a vertically integrated approach to the telecommunications sector.

In 2010, TNS acquired Cequint the leading developer of mobile carrier Caller ID and call management products and has spent the time carefully reviewing the needs and capabilities of the division versus the market. As a result, TSD has strategically realigned in order to better leverage the strategic relationships already established by Cequint within the wireless industry.  This approach and a solidset of solutions specifically designed to help carrier partners will provide the platform to  navigate the migration to next generation networks while continuing to improve the  service they provide to their customers.

TNS' CEO Henry H. Graham, Jr. said, "As part of our long-term strategic approach acquiring Cequint has proved an important step towards creating an innovative platform. Rick and his team have done an excellent job partnering with Tier 1 telecoms carriers.  We believe that with the help of Rick and his team, TNS will begin to fully realize the advantages of new strategic alignments across TSD. The combination of TNS' carrier-grade data and network assets and Cequint's expertise at the application layer, allow us to create value-added services that are unrivalled in the industry. Mobile is part of TNS' future, and we have the right foundation in place now to maximize revenue opportunities for our carrier partners."

General Manager of TSD, Rick Hennessey said, "There is an exciting convergence taking place in the wireless marketplace and TNS has an advantageous position. We are enthusiastic and eager to implement plans that will leverage our leadership position in network, subscriber data and handset technology. This move represents TNS' commitment to bringing innovative products to the forefront of a very large and fast-growing market."
