Turner Broadcasting System and Mobix, a
pioneer in mobile video and TV, today announced the launch of three of
Turner’s most popular brands as on-portal video-on-demand propositions and
via Sky’s mobile TV pack.

Following
on from the successful broadcast launch of the country’s leading
lad’s mag on Freeview, Nuts TV is now available to all operators as a
mobile TV channel, refreshed every week.  All of the fans’ favourites will
figure to make the most compelling lifestyle entertainment channel available to
mobile users.

Equally
compelling will be a new Adult Swim mobile offering.  The edgy animation and
live action programming will meet the demand for entertainment on the go via both Sky’s
mobile TV pack, refreshed on a daily basis, and as an on-portal video proposition.
Featuring all of the characters that have already enjoyed phenomenal success on
other platforms such as Bravo, BT Vision and You Tube, this launch will extend
the brand’s reach to a new audience as well as provide greater
accessibility for existing fans.

Also
launching as an on-portal video-on-demand proposition is Cartoon Network.  From
the classics such as Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry to favourites such as
Dexter’s Laboratory and Johnny Bravo, the world’s greatest
animations will be available to all UK operators.

Mobix
Interactive was selected to produce and edit all the video and TV content and is
working closely with Turner on a commercial basis to maximise the potential of
the brands across mobile. “This launch demonstrates the importance and
role of mobile video and TV in driving digital content strategies as well as
the need for specific expertise in producing for the small screen.  Mobix is
delighted to be instrumental in bringing such high profile, global brands to
the increasing mobile media audience,” commented Damian Mulcock, CEO,
Mobix Interactive.
