ALAMEDA, CA - January 8, 2009 - Wind River (NASDAQ: WIND), the global leader in Device Software Optimization (DSO), today announced that the company developed software code that will enable open source software Android to run on large screen-sized mobile computing devices on SnapdragonTM chipsets from Qualcomm Incorporated.
