Carriers throughout the EU have until tomorrow to offer their subscribers a new pricing structure that includes cheaper roaming fees. In some cases roaming fees will drop by 70 percent [1]. As part of the regulation, subscribers have two months to mull over the new prices and decide to either stick with their provider or move to another. The move follows a long investigation into roaming fees from the European Commission, which estimates that the carriers made about $11 billion in annual profits from roaming fees.
