Delta Airlines will soon be offering inflight WiFi access on 330 domestic aircrafts. The company will be offering Aircell's Gogo service for $9.95 on flights of three hours or less and $12.95 on flights of more than three hours.
Delta will equip more than 200 of its Boeing 737, 757, 767-300 aircraft by mid-2009. By the summer of 2009, it will have more than 330 aircraft equipped with the service. The Gogo service will let Delta customers with WiFi-enabled laptops, smartphones and PDAs access the Internet, corporate VPNs and email.
