Trackn/Enfotrace selects Telit's technology for GPS systems

Trackn/Enfotrace, a GPS services provider, announced it would be using Telit Wireless Solutions machine-to-machine (M2M) technology for its new line of Locations Based Services (LBS) starting October 2008.

The Telit module provides a two-way flow of information over a digital cellular network, giving drivers safety alerts, vehicle diagnostics, door lock controls and messaging capability. As GPS technologies evolve and more features are expected to come standard, Trackn/Enfotrace is looking to expand its market reach into wireless-based GPS applications.
