AT&T: Further delay in Centennial deal would be a 'burden'

AT&T is getting anxious about closing its $944 million deal to acquire Centennial Communications. A week after the companies warned that the deal wouldn't close until the fourth quarter, AT&T and Centennial representatives met with FCC staff members to press their case for approval. In a presentation, the companies said that further delay "will impose a severe burden on Centennial and its customers," according to an FCC filing.
