According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, Clearwire's CEO Craig McCaw is the envy of the telecommunication industry's startups. His company just closed a mega $900 million deal of financing from Intel and Motorola--saving it from going the IPO route at the same time as Vonage, whose stock has suffered terribly since debuting in May.
