The phones (mostly LTE) of CES 2012
LAS VEGAS--The Consumer Electronics Show here has been awash in new smartphones and tablets for the wireless market. There have been seemingly dozens of new smartphones and other gadgets announced by carriers and manufacturers, both domestic and international.
Most of these devices sport LTE network connections--a reflection of the expansive network upgrades undertaken by U.S. carriers throughout 2011--but not all of them. Thus, here's a look at some of the more notable smarpthones to plow their way through the hustle and shuffle of this year's CES hoopla. (Details, such as pricing and release date, are provided only in the cases where such information has been provided.) These are the ones worth noting, and the ones that could help set the tone for the rest of 2012.
