When you think of the Mobile Marketing Association, you think of Laura Marriott. During her tenure with the association, she has tirelessly evangelized the potential of mobile marketing while also bringing some much-needed guidelines and integrity to this area of the industry. Under Marriott's leadership, the MMA has grown dramatically and now has more than 400 members worldwide.

In June, Marriott announced that she will resign from her post later this year. So far there has been no word in what her next move will be, but many are hopeful that she will stay in the wireless industry.
