Alltel offers LBS roaming nationwide

Alltel Wireless subscribers who use the carrier's location based applications can now use them in more than 45 metro areas that previously had no LBS coverage. The new coverage areas were made possible by a roaming deal Alltel inked with another nationwide carrier. Alltel's LBS suite for consumers includes uLocate's WHERE application, TeleNav's GPS Navigator and Axcess Family Finder. Alltel also offers enterprise class LBS applications like TimecardGPS, which lets businesses track an employee's location and record shift times.
